IN-OFFICE IV SEDATION
In-office IV sedation will be used for those children with a higher level of anxiety or for those who have extensive dental needs. This type of sedation will be performed and monitored by an anesthesiologist.
Outpatient general anesthesia in a hospital or surgical center will be utilized for those children who have extensive dental needs and who are not candidates for in-office sedation due to things such as medical history, special needs, inability to cooperate, or very young age.
